Produced by Dialogue alongside with prod. Co. Playground "NUVEM" is a TV short series that immerses the audience in the day-to-day lives of six forgotten digital avatars, as they try to survive in what initially seems like paradise, but turns out to be the technological limbo known as “NUVEM".
Our team at Dialogue was the creative force behind shaping all the quirky characters and environments that make up “NUVEM”. We brought this universe to life using a wild mix of 2D and 3D animation. The challenge we embraced was twofold: we had to recreate a highly advanced technological environment while effectively conveying the sensation of entrapment experienced by the characters yearning for escape. From their humble cloud abode to a bustling bar and even the enigmatic dark web, these avatars embarked on a series of adventures, revealing their distinct personalities and unwavering desire for recovery.
The technical hurdle for our team lay in ensuring consistency across the six episodes, while infusing each one with its own distinct flavor.
